What else is he going to do? Surely you realise that boxers just put up a front when in the limelight!? He isn't going to blame it on the fact that Ruiz smashed him 4 times.

Regardless, Ruiz will beat Joshua again. And I am a Joshua fan over all other HW's. Joshua's style is easy work for Ruiz.

UNLESS, this was all a marketing fix and Joshua wins via a similar scenario to the Parker or Takam fight.

For Joshua to be truly credited with a decisive victory, Ruiz needs to be put to sleep. A points victory will only ever be seen as Joshua ran around the ring because of the fickle nature of boxing fans.

Very obviously Joshua no mased this fight to Ruiz, it was an obvious fix just like Duran vs Leonard 2.

He looked like a man wanting out of the fight. Yes some guys spit out the gumshield to get a little more time but I remember him peeling off his tape & showing the ref so he could get a break. I think the rematch is 50/50 but Joshua needs to take him out asap. If he gets dropped early By Ruiz I’m not so sure he will be able to get back into the fight. I could be wrong but does Joshua really want it badly enough? The guy has a lot of money. Is he as mentally prepared as he is physically? That is the big question to me. He could retire tomorrow with no financially worries. He is in a financial position that most boxers can only dream of...

Boxing seems to be the only sport where a loss, in some people's eyes makes you obsolete 'Very strange culture'.

Well Andy Ruiz Junior is not playing the nice guy in this match up anymore, insinuating that a opponent quit is quite a serious accusation.
It's all part of the mental edge. Ruiz has that and he has to use that to rattle AJ ahead of this rematch. If AJ is an emotional person then he would take the bait, AJ was quite emotional in the Whyte fight and nearly paid for it, has he learn from that fight? we shall see.

You are absolutely spot on, AJ can't just turn up and hope to "Box" himself to a UD win. Unless he actually does that without any controversy, he simply need to smash Ruiz, which is going to work in Ruiz's favour and put AJ more in harms way.

I actually disagree, I think AJ has enough physical advantages to botch a rangey victory especially since Ruiz has slower fee than Parker which is why I think Ruiz is also trying to bait him with this quitting talk.

Rather see him prove people wrong in a barn burner/slugfest or blowout though.

                    TUA was only 5ft 9, 10
                    Ruiz is 6ft 2
Tua had damaged ribs going into the fight

Lewis knew about it and hit him w a wicked body shot in 2,3 round

                    After that Tua was tamed

Puzzyfruit quit..he manipulated the ref to make the decision for him

He had never been in a fire fight before..too many easy set ups by Eddie

Mentally he wanted out that night

Wilder senses that fear in Puzzyfruit and Puzzyfruit knows it

Puzzyfruit is doomed if he faces Wilder ..this is a blood sport..not amateur fencing w gloves on
