It's a complete different thing for sure boxing is hands only and a bs clinch. Mma is hands elbows knees and kicks oh yeah plus various grappling. It does good business but I'd take canelo in decision if it's boxing maybe late round ko but if mma of course masvidal.

Masvidal is a good striker in terms of MMA fighters but he is not a good boxer, no where near the level of someone like Canelo. Im one of Canelo's biggest critics on here but he would KO Masvidal in a boxing match and do so early.

In other words, masvidal doesn't bring the type of money and following that McGregor did so he won't entertain it. But let's not pretend that this is Canelo doing the noble thing.
