ggg fought 11 of his 20 defenses against top 10 guys and the first 4 weren't even in the US with a real promoter so that explains why he couldn't get anyone. ggg was a bum basher though. this is different. having an entire network backing you, the most powerful promoter/manager, and yet only 2 top 10 wins over 5 years...the only one who is impressed by that is tank davis.
Historical perspective on Deontay Wilder's 10 consecutive title defenses

i didnt say any of thatSo Wilder according to you and the video, has done more by defending his bs title 10 times than Tyson and Lewis’ longest reigns because they had nine defenses.
In Tyson’s reign before he became undisputed and lineal, he won his first title from Trevor Berbick. Berbick ended Muhammad Ali’s career and beat Greg Page before the Tyson fight. Berbick also beat Pinklon Thomas to win the title. Thomas was undefeated and won the title by beating Tim Witherspoon.
After securing that win, Tyson immediately unified two of the three titles in his next fight and won all three titles two fights after that.
Four fights after that unifying all three titles, he fought and beat the lineal champion.
In Lewis’ title defenses before becoming undisputed, he beat undefeated Henry Akinwande, destroyed Andrew Golota (who kicked Rid**** Bowe’s a$$ twice but got disqualified), destroyed lineal champion Shannon Briggs, beat another undefeated fighter in Zelijko Mavrovic before trying to unify with Holyfield.
Deontay Wilder best Bermane Stiverne, who was supposed to be a victim for Chris Arreola, to win a title while Klitschko was the champion. He only got that shot because the WBC was too ****** to give Klitschko their title. Wilder then fought Eric Molina, Johann Duhaupas, Artur Spzilka, Chris Arreola, Gerald Washington and Stiverne again. That’s six defenses against complete bums while Klitschko, then Fury and then Joshua was out there!
For you or anyone to compare him to Lennox Lewis or Mike Tyson because the WBC is ****** and allowed him to be champion makes me want to vomit. There’s literally hundreds and hundreds of heavyweights throughout boxing history who have accomplished more but we’re going to pretend like he’s an all time great. Disgusting.
why mention Berbick beating Ali like that was some great win??
and amazing you point out all the undefeated fighters the other guys beat but ignore the undefeated ones Wilder beat..none of those undefeated guys the others beat where hall of famers or atg's so why even mention that?Comment

LOL at the OP, The K brothers reign at HW makes it look like they fought killers compared to now. You claim to be a historian, then how do you account for him waiting for Vitali to retire before he went for the WBC belt?
He was 30-0 by Oct 2013, Vitali didn't retire till a year later and held the strap since 2008.... Patiently ducked errrr waited for Vitali to retire. Prove me wrong.Comment

just for the sake of argument...
the prospect of facing Wilder, chased Vitali into retirement
" prove me wrong "
you don't get to decide when a fighter is ready to step up... just like I don't get to decide when a fighter is ready to retire
the guy started boxing when he was 21 manComment

this is why most historians will not seriously consider a fighters position until long after they retireComment

Berbick beating Ali is a great win. Ali was one fight removed from being heavyweight champion of the world, even if he was old and shot. Berbick’s win over Ali is better than anything Wilder has done in his career.
The undefeated fighters in Wilder’s six fight bum stretch during his title reign is Gerald Washington. You can’t compare him to the undefeated fighters I mentioned in Lewis’ resume. Prior to the Lewis fight, Akinwande beat Tony Tucker and Axel Schultz. Maybe you can compare him to Mavrovic but I’ve seen his fight against Lewis and I think he’s much better than Washington.
