Carlos Adames and Patrick Teixeira were supposed to meet Saturday night in an elimination match to determine the mandatory challenger for the WBO's junior middleweight title. Now that WBO 154-pound champion Jaime Munguia officially has moved up to middleweight, the WBO has sanctioned Adames-Teixeira as a fight for an interim portion of that championship in Las Vegas.

I am with you and think it might be by stoppage as well. If Adames manages to get inside and do a little damage it won't go the distance. I don't see how Teixeira can hurt Adames. It should be a good scrap while it lasts.
