Most of his fights are fun but lets be honest the Ortiz rematch was kinda boring for the most part. The first one was a fight of the year type fight
So no he is far from boring.Comment

I only wish that Wilder fought in a style similar to Thomas Hearns, Junior Jones, or Gerald McClellan. Would be a more exciting, deadly killer of a fighter IMO.Comment

The most exciting fighter in boxing...
His fights are gripping cause you’re just waiting to see what happens when he lands. As it only takes one...Comment

Live fights i find him about as exciting as a fighter can be. I never miss his fights. everybody loves a huge KO and that is what he does best.In terms of his style and replay value do you find Wilder an exciting or boring fighter? Do you usually find his fights fun to watch in general?
He's 50/50 with me, honestly. His KOs are great to look at but overall I find his style to be ugly to watch. But the possibility of a KO happening at any moment even when he's losing a fight is what makes him an edge of your seat fighter.
I wouldnt watch his fights back though. When you know when the KO comes there isnt much slick beautiful Boxing on show till it comes. Wilders style can be really cringe inducing and it really isnt present on the eye. If i want to enjoy one of his KO's i go to Youtube.
But i wil say, ive got plenty of negative things to say about Deontay Wilder and i stand by it all but i repeat, I never miss a Deontay Wilder fight.Comment

Highlight reel KO which is what fans should want. But we are greedy because we want more. He isn’t Lewis who can use a variety of boxes. With Wilder you kinda get bored until the KO comes. You literally trying to stay up to not miss his KO.Comment

This is exactly how I feel about Wilder. He's an exciting fighter only once whenever you watch his next fight live without anyone knowing how and when the fight is going to end. But I wouldn't go back and watch his fights in full again.Live fights i find him about as exciting as a fighter can be. His style isn't pleasant to watch and he only fights one way, which can be boring to sit through while waiting for the big shot to happen. I would probably watch more of his fights in full if he showed better punch variety in his arsenal, threw punches in combinations, or had nice boxing movement. But, as is, the only thing he's got going for him is that right hand bomb and an occasional windmill moment, but nothing else which is not enough for me.
At least with guys like Hearns or McClellan you get boxing artistry from them. They look for the KO but also look good doing it.Last edited by Flo_Raiden; 11-27-2019, 11:38 AM.Comment

I consider him one of the most if not THE most exciting fighters today. Even when not much is happening, I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for lightning to strike.
Also, it isn't just one way, Wilder has poor defense and I've little doubt that the day will come when he'll be the one trying to beat the count.Comment
