    The original Cuban boogeyman.

I think if he'd defected to the USA his career would have been different. Pedro Diaz couldn't get him to stay in shape living on the other side of the world, and its no secret that Ahmet Oner was an abysmal promoter. He built his name in Germany, but Universum lost their TV contract and German boxing kind of hit a low point right as Solis entered the prime of his career.

I wanted to see that Haye rematch so bad. Instead, he retired with Monte Barrett as his best win. Goddamn shame....

It’s funny how these mediocre Cubans are praised even in defeat, yet someone as skilled as Ruiz, who actually rose to the occasion when he stepped up, is dismissed...I love how Mexicans always prove the doubters wrong against the best of them

                  - -KOed in the 1st rd, yet his insipid fans insisted he was winning the rd...only in boxing!!!

I bet on him to beat vitali at the time, that worked out well for me
Not really. It's just that Vitali is an ATG and put a halt to all that jazz.
