Well, I didn't list everyone (it was just a selection). In his case, high KO percentage but he was more of a bludgeoner. Lot of wear down stoppages. He could get you with one shot, but he was more likely to grind. Wladimir was, while sometimes methodical, a more dynamic, explosive puncher.

It's just strange to put aside #1 highest KO heavyweighter after Wilder and after him only because he came back to boxing at old age after dropping it before. That's when weardowns came. Prior to that his KO rate and killer instincts were marvelous. I can think of only Saunders and Lennox who somehow took his punch and Lennox had half a fight further until doctor decided to stop it.Well, I didn't list everyone (it was just a selection). I still remember how Vitaliy purposely let Briggs of the hook in the middle rounds because more rounds means more money for Klit and thereafter Briggs managed to go full 12 as old Vitaliy had not enough stamina to do the job in champions rounds (cheers to Shannon)/
Wlad had left hook and technical straights but Vitaliy had iron maces no matter how he hit.
Vitaliy being oftenly put to the 2nd place, after Wlad, which always makes me uneasy. Vitaliy revenged brother's loss as could beat anyone unlike Wlad. All Ukraine knows who the stronger (incl. punch power and chin) of the brothers is.

...and that takes skill in boxing because the other guy is not only looking to knock you out but is trying to avoid being knocked out himself. Must-see TV, best to see it live, and can't wait for the Fury fight. Run it back!Deontay Wilder doesn’t come to win rounds. He comes looking for the moment where he can win the fight.
