If Floyd came out of retirement and beat Canelo, I think it would be very hard to keep his name out of the top ten P4P, all time. And I'm far from a FMJ fan.
Boxing is really a popularity contest. Trout never got his rematch, Lara never got his rematch. If GGG didn't have his drawing power & lost their 1st fight on paper (as Canelo pretends in his mind) he probably wouldn't have gotten his rematch.
Every time I read about Canelo wanting to fight a past prime 40 Y.O Floyd Mayweather it lets me know that he would never have fought Floyd if he was still that high risk low reward killa on the come up. You wanna fight Floyd but not Andrade because he's "boring" & not a "challenge...." So many double standards in boxing it's sickening.
Man, that whole open scoring thing with Trout was a scam. That was a close fight. There's No way Floyd comes back to risk his undefeated record against a gift decision for Canelo.
