This is why today's fighters don't measure up to fighters of previous generations. Robinson/LaMotta rematched one another three weeks apart. LaMotta fought 13 times that year. Greb once fought 46 times in one year. Fighters were in fighting condition for most of the year.

Kovalev on the other hand making boxing as a sport look bad. Cant take an L like a man, if he didnt think he had a chance at winning then he shouldnt have taken the fight. Can only blame himself and his team. A fight cannot be unfair if everyone involved agreed to the terms. GTFOH.
Yet you Clenelo fans still complaining to this day and the 152lb catch-weight that Clenelo not only agreed to but was the one who offered it.

If it would've been Kovalev in Half force, not even Full, Clenelo would've lost.

WE all know what happened, it was a joke of a fight.

Clenelo is so massively hyped and protected.

Lol. TMT said, 150lbs. GBP said hells no 154lbs or no WBC strap. TMT said, “fine, no fight!” GBP and TMT agreed in between at 152lbs. Floyd had already fought Cotto and DLH at the full 154. Floyd scared of Mexicans. That’s why he fought Marquez 2lbs above their original agreement of 144lbs.

Canelo’s head was getting clipped. Didn’t you see his face after the fight?

                    Kovalev ALWAYS has an excuse

Whether it's the trainer, the weight, a short camp, a dirty fighter, the ref...

                    He ALWAYS has an excuse

Wonder what's his excuse for raping that woman?!

Here is my personal opinion. If you say you took the fight because you couldn’t pass up the money, then live with the results of it, plain and simple, and don’t make any excuses. Because the alternative is always countering the negotiations and requesting a few more months to get ready for the fight OR, how about this, DONT TAKE THE FIGHT!!!

What makes Sergey really look bad, is it’s always something else or someone else’s fault. It’s the coach, the weight, the low blows, the training, the dieting, an injury, the ref, the judges, the promotors, the training location, etc...One time, fans just want to hear Sergey say the better man won and nothing else. Very Sore Loser!!!
