Are you comparing Wilders legs to a Deers???

I'm saying deer also have thin legs, but that doesn't stop them from running really fast and jumping really high!

He does have freak power. He didn't even wind up against Ortiz and he still knocked him into next week.

One way to think about whether Wilder's legs had any involvement in the power of the punch that kayo'd Ortiz is whether you genuinely believe Wilder could have punched that hard while laying on the ground on his back.

Wilder's kayo punch was obviously not an arm punch....so taking your proposition to its illogical conclusion....

            Answer's no.

Wilder is strong no doubt. I also wonder if it's the size of his foot that helps the power. He has a wider surface to plant himself on the ground with than someone with a smaller shoe size. Thus allowing the anchorage to be that much more firm to the ground. Allowing the additional torque from the twist at the base of the hips to allow maximum velocity and impact upon detonation of those hyper alloy bombs we call gloves.
