It was disappointing to see the once great Bayless stopping the fifth so abruptly. Ortiz was fine to continue. It was the end of the round so he would have had a minute to sit down. The point is not that Wilder would probably have gone on to win, but that the fight was stopped too quickly.

Again I think the fight was stopped prematurely. Ortiz was winning 6 rounds to zero. Had not taken any punishment.

Had he been allowed to continue he could have been seriously hurt, feel bad for him, he had a great camp, was in good shape and didn't seem gassed up, but Wilder's power leaves no doubt.
