It was disappointing to see the once great Bayless stopping the fifth so abruptly. Ortiz was fine to continue. It was the end of the round so he would have had a minute to sit down. The point is not that Wilder would probably have gone on to win, but that the fight was stopped too quickly.

Similar to why fury was allowed to continue. Fury was winning and hadn't taken.much punishment
Dude did you see how he went down and he got up and was slumped..his arms had no life in the them..he would’ve gotten seriously hurt if they allowed it to continue

Doesn’t matter if the count was a little quick. That was a crushing shot. Ortiz would’ve been scorched soon after.

Terrible stoppage by Bayless! The round was over and Ortiz had gotten to his feet!!! Bayless is a PBC shill.

Had he been allowed to continue he could have been seriously hurt, feel bad for him, he had a great camp, was in good shape and didn't seem gassed up, but Wilder's power leaves no doubt. AJ better get ko'd by Ruiz again and never face Wilder, he'd be retired and probably damaged for ever if he gets hit like that.

Bayless had to hold him up from stumbling back on the canvas lol his soul left his body and wasn’t a fast count gloves was actually still on canvas at 10

The look on his face when he was looking around was not the look of a man thinking clearly, unless he was thinking about the fight being over or damn that hurt.
