I consider myself a Wilder fan, but let's be honest...Mike Tyson was an exciting knockout artist. He used skill to dispatch his opponent. Wilder? If there is such a thing as a boring knockout artist, that's what he is. Watching a guy wait for 7 rounds to throw a knockout punch isn't what I call exciting....well, except for the 2 seconds when he threw that punch.

He makes up for in determination stanima heart confidence in a will to win like I've never seen. I had it 4-2 Ortiz but by no means was he dominating this fight. Wilder totally took his time & waited for his chance. Ortiz kept his hands up thru the first 6 rounds but rewatch the 7th rd. Ortiz started getting complacent & was dropping his hands. Wilder just missed landing a big right a few times but caught him late. He was patient waiting for his opening. When that opening started presenting itself he capitalized. Say what you will about Wilder but he didn’t lie when he said pre-fight that you need to be perfect for 36 minutes fighting him & Ortiz was near perfect for 6 rounds. The hands come down in the 7th & he’s on his back before round 8. Wilder is much better than people give him credit for... Most of the usual haters here won’t give him any credit. I was never a big Wilder fan but he has grown on me & I enjoy reading the haters cringe. How many of you haters on here are Educated but have 400$ or less to your name? My guess is a strong 90%. It’s 2020 an education does not equal success anymore hahaha. Has it ever?
