Fury has proven he is a better pro than Ortiz. It’s in the cv. Issue is this amateur hour trainer talking big after having no plan for Wallin. Fury needs a real cornerComment

It took Wilder a long time to find Ortiz.
But I still think he's looking as sharp as ever.
If Fury's not focused, he'll lose.
I like Ben Davison. He's kept Fury on track. But I'm not sure how good of a trainer he is. With the fullest of respect, Fury deserves "better".
For generations, fighters have been assigned legendary trainers. Fury doesn't have one. A Dundee, or Clancy, Arcel or Futch would really round out his game. The fact that he has to worry about Wilder is pretty sad.Comment

We all know Fury is better than Wilder. We don't know if that will still be the case in the rematch. I like Ben Davison, but he's no Gil Clancy.Comment

You guys overrate Ortiz's power the same way you overrate everything else about him. He couldn't hurt Christian Hammer and struggled to beat him on points. Fury dropped a fresher, better version of Hammer with one punch and hurt him so badly that he quit on his stool.Comment

Wilders right hand is a cheat code. No other fighter have I ever seen be losing and with one punch erase a fighter. Even Tyson never had that type of one punch KO power. The only other think simalar was Julian the Hawk back in the day. That guy had a lot of highlight reel one punch KOsComment

Hate to say I told you so....
No mystery...this fight went EXACTLY as expected. Was anyone surprised? They give tickets away for the sake of optics and PPV didn't sell. Again...no surprise. Wilder made 3 - 4 million and I'm sure he's ok with that. Only 20 to 30 fights and Wilder makes 120 million. Ortiz on the other hand made 1.5, maybe 3 mill including backside and should fire his team for passing on AJ's 7 million. "C'est La Vie"
Fury is next but he is entirely another animal. Fury took away Wilder's long one two and he'll do it again in the only PPV worthy fight Wilder can make without AJ.
Remember, you heard it here first but honestly, it's no mystery. I'm accurate often because I don't have an agenda. I won't put my thumb on the scale for a manager, promotion company or political party. I have favorite fighters but I still call things for what they are.
It doesn't take a genius to make an unbiased observation.Comment
