Wilder has improved as a boxer

He no longer shoots the right hand when he's out of range, which is where he's most vulnerable for the counter.

He was patient and waited to close the distance before he shot it, and had faith in his power.

I think he's accepted his limitations as a boxer and decided not to box at all.

      It's one punch or nothing.

His boxing is very average but his straight right is all he needs. To be fair to him, he times it beautifully.

He didn't look great lol, I'm just saying he's no longer a knockout waiting to happen hail marying his shots leaving himself wide open punching when he's out of range.

He certainly has. He has had to. Still lost every round tonight though until the KO.

No he hasn't, he's still horrible. He shot the right hand a few times out of range which allowed Ortiz to throw those combos. He still backs straight up instead of slipping punches, his left hook is some horrible slapping arm punch, he doesn't know how to go to the body or throw counter punches, I could go on and on

Ok I'll bite. He lost almost every second of that fight prior to the KO, but lets not act like Ortiz was kicking his ass. Ortiz was more active and winning rounds, but Wilder's defense has improved. Anyway doesnt matter, this is who he has been and always will be
