You just named 3 fighters Wilder avoided. Great reply Larry as usual.

Unfortunately you will probably need to fight until you are 50 years old, just like flroid will have to.

Boxers who box late into their years can do so because of strong technical skills and an ability to not get hit. Wilder has awful defense and as his reflexes go, which has already begun, so too will his career.

Wilder will not be in meaningful fights in 2-3 years time

Not on an elite level he can't last that long. His defense has to improve exponentially. His best option is to retire sooner than later. His personality could do well in movies, commercials anything other than getting punched in the face until you're 40+ years old.

Ortiz is a live dog. Wilder should win but more chance of upset here than with most top 10s. Kownacki, Pulev, PEDillian and Juicin’ Jarrell would be easy Ws. And none of those guys, except maybe Kownacki, have the sack to get in with Ortiz. At least we have a fight

Yes if Haymon keeps rigging all his fights, Wilder can go to 100-0 and age 50. Maybe that's the PBC plan.

I can see that happening especially if he keeps fighting 40-year-olds, journeymen and the occasional match-up.

I'd be surprised if wilder was fighting for much past 2022. He might not have taken a lot of punishment but he's had various hand and arm tendon problems as a result of his or punching power.
If he remains undefeated for another two years there won't be much else for him to do. And if he loses a couple, it the same situation!
