Yes Smith looked lousy and Canelo can beat him. He is a young undefeated champion that Canelo can beat so I think Canelo will fight either Saunders or Smith next. Canelo would have more trouble beating Bivol, Beterbiev or Benavidez that either of the English 168 pound champs. I really thought Smith was a better fighter than he showed today. Canelo would murder him at close range fighting and Canelo beats Saunders too because Saunders can't hurt him. Right now it sure looks like Canelo can be the real champ at 168. At 175 against Bivol and Beterbiev I think Canelo gets beat. Canelo won't fight Smith in England and get robbed like Ryder just did. Canelo will only fight hard opponents in Vegas.
