Sad to say, huh? I tend to believe that, even if Ortiz boxes Wilder’s ears off, he won’t get the decision.

If Ortiz starts fast and can land something of substance the fight is his but he has to commit to ending the fight at all costs by round 6. He has a poor gas tank as it is and will be stopped if he runs for 7 rounds too.

The strategy should be to start super fast and hope Wilder gets in the ring cold.

I believe Wilder is too good for him though and Ortiz will try to be defensive for the first couple of rounds and warm up, so Wilder KO by 5.

I'm picking king kong, he's in great shape and can box, being leaner I think will help him last into the late rounds with something left, but his best chance is in the early rounds, box smart, try to steal a couple of rounds and catch a desperate wilder coming in. If it goes the distance, there's no way wilder loses, see the Fury fiight.

I honest don't care who wins, no horse in this race for me. Would be happy for Ortiz if he pulls it off for sure

Tbh I'd be surprised if Ortiz makes it to mid rounds.

I tend to agree. It’s a strategy that’s not so easy to pull off for a man his age, but Ortiz should probably burn his bridges and go for it.

Why am I not surprised you’re going for Ortiz? Lol But, yeah, I agree with everything else. Would be nice to finally see a Cuban heavyweight champ, if only for a second.

If Ortiz stays on the outside he will eat that brutal right hand....hes got to attack and get inside --Wilder wont know what to do if kong can get inside and stay there .

The worst thing you can do is stay out there so wilder can crack the right hand----ask any of his opponents!

                    WAR KONG !!

I don’t think he gets blitzed. I think the fourth round is the earliest, but it’ll probably be over by the sixth. I’ll be amazed if this fight goes the distance.
