Nery trying to cheat again? What else is new?

This was the only somewhat interesting fight on the undercard. I won't be buying the PPV just for Wilder-Ortiz.

Yeah, I almost talked myself into getting this PPV. Other than the main event, this was the fight I wanted to see. Without this fight to draw me in, it's tough for me to get the PPV when I suspect Wilder will blast King Kong out early.

Luckily, I can watch the ESPN+ and DAZN cards instead. I was looking at the DAZN undercard and it looks sneaky good. Sometimes some of their smaller headline fights have the best undercards.

Just go up to 122. Nery is a natural super bantamweight.

Rodriguez didn't want the fight anyway and Nery offered up the free pass card. Eventualy, nothing new to Nery but behind the scene it will come back to bite Rodriquez..I know Rodriguez did his end to make weight and nery was a pound off. Well, ****** Nery but if ready Rodriguez coulda took more money and gone on with it.. PPV purchases will be substantially less. Just lost my purchase.

Props to Rodriguez for standing firm. His purse even with the added fee from the fine would have been far too low given the circumstances.

Good advice from Rodriguez management and the correct response to the disgraceful actions of Nery; coming in overweight and refuses to try to lose it?! How unprofessional. He was obviously banking on Rodriguez being paid off and allowing him a massive advantage. Well done Rodriguez!

None of this is Rodriguez fault and he should be applauded not criticised for his actions. That should be reserved for Nery, who should be frozen out as this not the first time he's missed weight for a big fight.
He's obviously too big for the weight class and reluctant to move up.
