Comments Thread For: Wilder: I Saw What I'm Really Made Of In 7th Round Versus Ortiz

Deontay Wilder learned something important about himself in those fateful, final 40 seconds of the seventh round against Luis Ortiz. Those tumultuous moments were the closest Wilder has come to losing in 42 professional fights. But Wilder didn't just overcome Ortiz's onslaught once Ortiz hurt him with a left hand when there were 41 seconds to go in that round.

Yea we saw what you were made of, you were made of having the ref save you by giving you a minute to recover every time Ortiz hurt you lol

He showed he was human like everyone else, that he could be stopped. He also showed a great chin and great composure.

Wilder showed he's not going to be easily defeated in some spots. But he was saved by the bell that's just a fact of life. What would a healthier Ortiz have done ? Wilder made excuses again and he used a flu virus but Ortiz didn't even pass a medical exam and the bout was almost cancelled or Charles Martin was on stand by ? Ha

Delusional much. He lost to Fury regardless of what the judges said. A blind man could have scored the fight better. Fury is the greatest HW on the planet right now unless Wilder beats him in a rematch

                    Right...

Fury totally won that, his team and family thought so too ! LOL

How lucky was Fury that the ref didn't stop that fight after he sat cold on the floor for 4-5 seconds. lolz

Wilder beats him easily next fight.
