Yes, I was very critical of Canelo for doing this but did not call it a duck. I also didn't call this a duck.
Let me ask it this way-if you are my mando and I vacate the belt rather than make a fight with you, what would you think about me?—————— that’s what you wrote, sounds to me you’re saying you think he is ducking, which would have to mean canelo also ducked, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander as they say

Linares is a bum. Loma will fight Davis, the best fighter in and around those weights. Loma better stay sharp. Davis is coming to smoke him, literally.

        Yea.

Let me slow it down for you.

        Crolla, Linares, Campbell, are sh/t.

Their resumes are sh/t. Their skills are C level.

Haney is better than Linares, Crolla and Campbell. He has better skills. Likely would do better (as I already clearly stated in plain English in this same thread), but has a weak resume and is very flawed still.

So yeah, I still stand by what I said. Their resumes are all trash, Haney is better than those 3. Haney would be more competitive than that trio of C class bums, but he is not ready yet. By the time he hits his prime, Loma would be too old. Just an unrealistic fight to make.

Different networks/promoters, Haney is too high risk for nothing. Lomachenko beating him won’t do anything legacy wise. The only winners if Haney wins would be for Haney himself and Hearn/DAZN. Only way a win over Haney would do anything for Lomachenko is if Haney goes on to become a great champ with good wins. Like what the Hopkins win did for Roy. But Haney is a work in progress and he is set in his ways. He’ll only get worse and get more exposed as he moves up in comp.

Tldr...yeah Haney is better than those 3 bums you think so highly of, despite having beaten no one. That says everything you need to know about Negative 1 Million Dolla Crolla, Fluke Campbell, and Glassy Chinares.

Has Devin Haney beaten anyone as good as Hugo Soto, Anupong Srisuk, Oscar Larios, Francisco Lorenzo, Rocky Juarez, Jesus Chavez, Hector Velasquez, Francisco Prieto, Kevin Mitchell, Anthony Crolla, Luke Campbell or Mercito Gesta?

So I don’t want to hear about matchmaking.

Campbell, another mediocre fighter. Crolla too. Pedraza was beaten with ease by Davis, outboxed and stopped.

Linares was hyped up as soon as he became an option for Lomachenko. Dude never beat anyone worth a damn.

Haney is not ready for Lomachenko, but definitely a step up from those fighters. Idc who they fought.

Now that the threat of Loma fighting Teofimo Lopez is here (assuming he wins against Commey, and if not, oh well), everyone's moving to Haney to bash Loma, huh?

Haney's got legitimate right to be mad, of course. I just hope the kid gets his shot sooner rather than later. Thing is I'm guessing the running order will be the Commey/Lopez winner then Tank, both of which are completely legitimate fights... after that it's the question of whether Loma wants it and whether Devin's still at 135, in what... I guess 2020's improbable now. Earliest would be 2021 I'd say.

Show me a post of mine where I defend Gervonta's competition. It's clear to see he's the stiffest competition for Loma at 135. Look around.
