Haney looked very average to me beating that weak fighter he fought last. The guy was ranked 33rd in the world by boxrec and he is the highest ranked fighter Haney has defeated. Haney hasn't done much at all and has done nothing to make Loma worry about him. Haney needs to beat a legit top 10 guy before he can accuse Loma of ducking him in my opinion. I think Loma beats Haney very easily.

I agree. Haney is a work in progress. Very flawed defense.

But did you think Crolla, Campbell, Linares, Pedraza stood a chance vs Lomachenko? Do they have a better chance at beating Lomachenko than Haney?

I ask this as someone who realizes the fight can’t happen due to business. But playing devil’s advocate here, for people saying Haney isn’t ready while ignoring Lomachenko’s most recent string of bum fights. Lomachenko ain’t exactly fighting killers.

i'm really loving how the canelo fans are attacking loma and inoue, two of the best p4p just because they feel insecure lol. they are both ahead of canelo p4p and legacy wise

Linares was a world champion who hadn’t lost in six years and was ranked in many pound for pound lists. He was also a unified champion before the WBC stripped him for no reason.

          He wasn’t a bum.

Pedraza and Campbell are also much better fighters than anyone Haney has faced and both would have a really good shot at beating Haney.

Then you must agree Canelo ducked, is that correct

You didn't answer the question. Please do.

I don't think its as simple as ducking. I think the WBC thinks Charlo and Haney could win and they realize their cut from them fighting would be significantly lower than Canelo and Loma, so they made this.

Yes, I was very critical of Canelo for doing this but did not call it a duck. I also didn't call this a duck.

Andy Ruiz is a duck for not fighting Pulev and fighting Joshua instead.

Linares was trash dude. Elite matchmaking. Awful resume. Stayed away from punchers and good fighters.

Campbell, another mediocre fighter. Crolla too. Pedraza was beaten with ease by Davis, outboxed and stopped.

Linares was hyped up as soon as he became an option for Lomachenko. Dude never beat anyone worth a damn.

Haney is not ready for Lomachenko, but definitely a step up from those fighters. Idc who they fought.
