Mayweather knows that if he sets foot on a boxing ring again he will never hear the end to the outcry for a Pacquiao or Alvarez rematch and the backlash if those fights don't happen. In other words, there is no chance in hell he comes back.

Maybe he’s trolling like the time he said there was a Floyd v Pac exhibition in China or Japan and it ended up being a photography exhibition

Lol. Since when does Floyd care about what the fans demand ? All he cares about at this stage is $$$.

This is a guy who fought Andre Berto in his last fight to collect a 30m payday!

"Mayweather has not taken part in a boxing match, with an actual boxer, since his September 2015 twelve round decision win over Andre Berto. Mayweather will turn 43 in February."

This is probably just one of Floyd's PR grab! Can't see him being serious about this! Now if he fights a few tune-ups, then I'll know he's for real!

Mayweather took to Instagram on Thursday night to tease a potential collaboration with White, posting that the two are "working together again to bring the world another spectacular event in 2020."

Mayweather made a second Instagram post later Thursday, posting a photo of himself wearing trunks and hand wraps with the caption, "Coming out of retirement in 2020," though it wasn't immediately clear what he meant.

Leonard Ellerbe, the CEO of Mayweather Promotions, did not respond to messages from ESPN seeking comment on Mayweather's social media posts. White declined to comment when reached by ESPN on Thursday night.

Mayweather and White, both Las Vegas residents, have known each other for years, and they also worked together when Mayweather fought McGregor in their heavily hyped 2017 boxing match. Mayweather came out of a 23-month retirement for that fight and knocked McGregor out in the 10th round before retiring again.

Floyd Mayweather said he's content in retirement from his in-ring boxing career, but also teased a potential collaboration with UFC president Dana White, saying that the two are working together on "another spectacular event in 2020."
