Floyd had been avoiding Khan for years and then finally he made a twitter poll for the fans to choose his next opponent. Khan or Maidana. The fans chose Khan but Floyd chose.... Maidana

When Floyd fought Maidana, Khan had already been KO’d by Garcia at 140.
Also since you mention boxing knowledge, let’s go there ....
Khan was KO’d by journeyman Prescott at 135. He of course blamed weight. He gets KO’d by Garcia after moving up, he again blames weight and promises us “I’ll be back stronger”.

He gets beat by Peterson at 140 too then goes on to struggle against journeymen.

Khan at the time nor at anytime was NEVER ranked anywhere in the top 10 at WW. He talked big all the time and fell spectacularly every time he fought elite guys.

With that resume why the fück would Floyd waste his time fighting him?
Khan could not beat Peterson, Prescott, Garcia plus the gift decisions he got and you and all the other Pakistanis like you want us to believe Floyd ducked him. Crazy talk!!

The statement I wrote about Floyd beating Canelo .... - was a counter response for your BS that Khan beat Maidana and Maidana embarrassed Floyd. Floyd won the fight. There was no embarrassment.

As for Canelo’s weight BS you just spewed, go to Google or even YouTube and watch Canelo call out Floyd after he beat Cintron, he was practically begging for the fight that he offered Floyd the catchweight of 152.

I have no issues engaging you or anyone on boxing issues but when you make it a personal issue then everything goes south.
Since you responded I’ll keep it civil and focus on actual facts and ignore your personal jabs and refrain from insulting you too.

When you mention that “Khan was a threat and Floyd ducked Khan” then that calls for a whole different debate that includes analyzing Khan’s career at the time when you say he was a threat or Floyd ducked him.
Khan was not a threat to Garcia, Prescott, Canelo, Crawford plus the couple gift recessions he got against nondescript journeymen.

How he can become a threat to Floyd is just crazy talk.

Dude, Canelo called out Floyd and offered to meet Floyd halfway. This is not something I am making up. Why should Floyd be the one moving up in weight.
Also, if Canelo was “novice” how did he struggle against Lara in a fight that many thought Lara won?
Also, Cotto gave him a good a fight as any. Canelo was just the same.

I personally think Canelo came to his own after the 2nd fight with GGG. I like Canelo and think he is an all time great but with or without the catchweight Canelo was never beating Floyd. It wasn’t even a close fight hence no interest in a rematch.

As for Pacquiao I don’t even know what to say. This is an old song.
Somehow, Floyd knew that PAC was injured so he agreed to fight him. That alone is just crazy talk.

The PAC of 2009-2012 was no different from the “old” PAC.
He got KO’d by Marquez.

He weight drained Oscar, Cotto and Margarito.
He fought Mosley right after Mosley had just lost to Floyd. Humor me please, if Floyd had fought Mosley after Mosley was coming off a loss to PAC what would you say about that?

If Floyd fought Brandon Rios, Horn, Algieri, Mathysse, Vargas and freakin Broner who was coming off three losses, you guys would have fits.
