I don’t care that GGG lost to Canelo.

I think he deserves a rematch, that’s entirely different.

I even gave Derevyanchenko 9 of 12 rounds when he fought GGG and have publicly stated GGG is shot.

I’m just pointing out that Sulaiman is incredibly biased in favor of Canelo is every way.

He invented a title for him so he wouldn’t have to fight Charlo. He invented the WBC pound for pound rankings to claim that he thinks Canelo is the best boxer. And now he’s publicly condemning Sergey Kovalev for an interview because he doesn’t like how it paints Canelo’s victory.

That’s insane. I’ve never seen anything like it before. And Sulaiman did nothing like that for GGG at all.

The ginger kid was fighting as the WBC champion... the franchise bullchit literally means that any and every time he fights at whatever weight he's representing the WBC as a champion at that weight. Couldn't make this shit up, man.

Why do you focus on Charlo? Canelo also ducked Dervenchenko.

Charlo and Andrade are the least deserving MW contenders although Andrade at least tried to fight BJS before he got caught doping.

Canelo fought Cotto, GGG twice (essentially a draw or 13-11 Canelo), and Jacobs. Neither Andrade or Charlo have fought any opponent even close to that level and they're both approaching 30 years old.

I do not blame Canelo for not fighting Charlo or Andrade. Why should Canelo?

Also, GGG also ducked Charlo when the WBC ordered that fight...why do you not get upset about that duck?

Boxing is basically the WWE nowadays. There are 5 so-called champions in the same weight class. That literally contradicts what a champion is...you cant have 5 "best"...you can only have 1 best. And you need to fight the other bests to determine the 1 best.

Canelo does that. GGG does that. Jacobs and Dervenchenko do that.

Andrade and Charlo are not in that conversation because they avoid any meaningful fight.

Sauliman and all the sanctioning bodies are a joke. But I don't hold that against any fighter.

I didnt support Sauliman when he stripped Canelo for not negotiating a contract in 14 days immediately following a fight. And I don't support Sauliman in making up random nonsense about "franchise" where a fighter can do whatever they want and still have the belts.

At the end of the day the real fans know which boxers take real fights. Those are Loma, Canelo, Taylor/Prograis, Donaire/Inoue, Crawford (fights anyone who will accept - cant control PBC ducking him), Usyk, Bivol, Dervenchenko, Hurd, Pacquiao...these are the faces of boxing because these guys actually do challenge the best regardless of arbitrary rankings.

Boxing needs to go back to 1 weight 1 champ and move to odd rounds (11 or 13). Those two things alone would make major headway with the casuals

Is Sulaiman saying this while knitting another belt for Canelo?

I mentioned Charlo because he was the WBC mandatory and we’re talking about the WBC’s president and how he’s biased for Canelo.

I didn’t argue that Charlo has fought the kind of competition Canelo has.

I don’t care that Canelo didn’t fight Charlo, I’m pointing out the WBC invented a title so he wouldn’t have to fight Charlo, because we’re discussing how the WBC is biased for Canelo.

Golovkin didn’t avoid Charlo because the WBC gave him a made up title so he wouldn’t have to fight him. GGG fought for the IBF title instead of fighting for a WBC belt that was made meaningless by the franchise championship.

I agree with you on Charlo but I think Andrade has been avoided throughout his career.

Yeah it's sad for Andrade. He really just needs to be active. Period.

Danny Jacobs came up the hard way and got the fights eventually, but he EARNED them. Golovkin came up the hard way by fighting contender after contender and building media around him.

Andrade and Charlo should be doing the same thing and building their brand. Both are complacent with what they have and who am I to judge that?

Sulaiman literally groomed Canelo from the start of his career of course he is gonna side with his project, he is taking down the WBC's rep with it but his family has controlled that org for years.
