  • Comments Thread For: Respect For NSAC's Suspension Guided VADA on Chavez Jr. Tests

BoxingScene.com has obtained a copy of a letter dated November 11th, by Margaret Goodman, President of VADA [Voluntary Anti-Doping Association], in response to Arizona Commission head Francisco Meneses suggesting that VADA was "not impartial" when it came to handling the drug testing for former middleweight world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

Another warning.....Eddie Hearn is playing a dangerous game here, not sure he understands what sort of mistake he is making

Keep this clown away from a boxing ring for 20 lifes. Chavez is slowly staining his father's legacy. People are going to talk about chavez sr. And say o yeah the guy who's son was fraud and a cheat.

Non-profits strike me as very corruptible. VADA board members should be transparent and make their bank accounts and tax returns available to proper individuals performing due diligence on a claim of impartiality. It could be very likely that VADA's own random drug testing personnel have not had a proper background investigation conducted by VADA if the whole organization is un-paid.

Chavez Jr is his own man and he aint staining nothing. Chavez sr accomplished alot in the ring and good for him but his son grew up with luxuries so he is wired differently. How is that Jr’s fault?

Despite his privileged lifestyle, he took up Boxing for a living and that has to be respected. Im sure Jr is tired of being compared to his dad all the time and so are his fans. Fuk his dad.

Chavez Jr has his own career and he didnt do too bad.

It’s hysterical how they make this all public, when everything is always sorted out behind closed doors anyway.

He should respect the VADA decision, even Sr doubts his son.

Stopped reading that Vada Response once she started bigging up herself in the intro.

Wow, so glad to see this thread. So chavez refused to be tested by VADA this was AFTER he signed the contract to be drug tested by VADA! Now it makes sense why VADA cancel the whole thing. But if you read Hearn's tweet from yesterday, he made it look like VADA just decided not to participate in the whole testing thing.

I was thinking why would VADA just refuse to participate in something that they would have been paid for, this is a much clearer picture..VADA going by Chavez's history refused to continue in the process, once he refused to be tested in october. And i don't blame them one bit, So why is the Arizona commission sending a defamating email questioning VADA's integrity to Nevada? That is sooo shady.
