When Canelo was 154 fighting smaller men. I never really thought he was special, TILL he fought Mayweather. He was just a kid then too.
When he fought GGG he proved just by hanging with him, that he is the real deal.
It shouldn’t be surprising a smaller man moves up and out speeds a bigger man. He reminds me of Mike Tyson in terms of build, speed and hit. Tyson whipped men up to 40 pounds HEAVIER then himself. Why is it so hard to understand Canelo?

based on what you've seen from Saunders over the past 2 yrs, where would you rank him as far as bring a threat to Canelo in comparison to andrade, Charlo, plant, callum smith, benavidez bivol and beterbiev? Personally, I consider him the weakest option of the bunch and without a doubt the weakest champion at 168. Which would generate understandable criticism, just like his fight with Kovalev deserved criticism based on age, wear and tear and the short turn around.

Name 1 fighter who has built their name off of primarily facing fighters that are 35 and older? Name 1 fighter than has had so many ridiculous scorecards in their favor, but not 1 bad scorecard against them? Name 1 fighter who has either been stripped of or dropped 3 different titles in 1 weight class? Name 1 fighter who literally had a belt created (franchise title) just for them based on a previous fit they threw about being asked to face a mandatory? Then when you combine that with a positive ped test and a lame excuse, there is every reason to cristisize Canelo. I notice you didn't answer my question about where you'd rank Saunders in comparison to all of those other options.
