    IMO Usyk's p4p ranking is based on his time at Cruiserweight. I had completely forgotten he even debuted at Heavyweight TBH.

      I don't blame them, they write for their audience.

      Think about in terms of just accents and how they influence folks.

      Southern = ******

      English = Smart

      simple. You can fight it but no one will read your work.

      Why do Americans romanticize Europe?

      Most of us come from somewhere in europe, and, we have this weird used-to-be-euro pride. Dudes with the last name Seitz are proud to be German, Mc's are proud Irish, pole are proud poles, so on. Everyone's proud of their folks and europe is our folks.

      So, selling Euros ain't hard in the US I say. I know the euros don't see it, but, being black from the south is a much bigger set back than being white and from europe, even eastern europe.

      I promise way before anyone in the US noticed Wlad was slavic they noticed he was a white HW champion.

        Max Kellerman explained why HBO went the International Route years ago... CHEAPER! GGG, Kovalev, Roman Gonzalez they was CHEAPER! For years HBO was paying Andre Berto just some of the most ridiculous Purses to fight awful opponents. HBO paid Berto like $2 Million one time to fight and I think he as the undercard/Co-Main if I remember correctly which could explain why HBO hated Al Haymon not just Berto but back then Paul Williams, Jermaine Taylor, Chris Arreola...Haymon had all of his fighters paid very well

        Foreign fighters are far more Cheaper than the Americans whom because of Mayweather, Americans are far more educated about the BUSINESS SIDE of boxing and how much these Networks and Promoters make while trying to give fighters just a Flat Guaranteed Purse while they get wealthy with all that Back End Money.

        Foreign Fighters really can't demand much because to them it is just a honor to be able to fight in America since back in their country they wouldn't be able to make anything close to what is paid in America

          Every time we see a white fighter get recognition, we have to pull out the 'white privilege' card.

          Essentially, this thread is a sham. Usyk is in the p4p rankings because of unifying CW - unbeaten and defeated multiple undefeated champions.

          Beterbiev I agree with - shouldn't be top 10. But a Chechen/Russian ****** is white privilege? lol.
          Golovkin is mixed race too.

          Every race has people that are championed by the media, but then you have jealous biased people who can't stand certain races receiving recognition and focus solely on them, which justifies their confirmation bias.

          Name me the top 10 boxers most championed by the media today and let's prove this beyond a doubt.

          If the top 10 boxers the media talks about are mostly white, then we can break it down and analayse it.

          I see this in the UFC too, where some of the 'fans' complain about Ronda, Brock and Conor as examples of white peepo getting special treatment...but then they conveniently leave out examples of white fighters not getting their due exposure (Stipe for example) and examples of non-white fighters also getting push from the company that counters their race-based narrative (Adesanya, Ngannou, Yair Rodriguez, Johnny Walker etc.).

          Everyone on here knows you are a white/euro hating poster, and you are just revealing, yet again, your personal biases.

          If you focus on only the black boxers who are successful, it would be easy to be a bitter small d1ck boy and complain about "the media LOVES black men, they are such bias a$$holes".

          You picked the smallest sample size EVER and use it as hard evidence. And some of the people in here agreeing with you are biased themselves or in one case just a plain cuckboy (we know that poster, a UK man who slurps on US fighters of a certain complexion and tries so hard to fit in where he doesn't belong)

            My 2 cents is that most Eastern Euros are valued pretty much according to their talent levels...which is impressive since most fighters overall get overhyped.

            The reason imo why those guys are pretty fairly valued is the same reason a lot of the Cubans (and non US/UK/Mexican fighters) are...to make it out of those countries and into the big time in the US/UK, you have to really earn your keep...and the ones who can't hang get exposed before they make the trip over here.

            I can't think of one Eastern euro who was rated really high and ended up sucking...whereas in all 3 of those big boxing countries, it happens all the time...that's where all the money is, so guys from those countries will get hyped up as a result.

                The usual gem is, to paraphrase, 'Unbiased people agree with me'.
                These statements appear to be very accurate. The ones who are always crying "wolf" seem to be the most biased and almost always side with their own race.

                  I would say regardless of his weak level of opponents fought at HW he is still going to be someone people will rate. The only question I have with him is will he be able to take a punch from those sort of guys. Look at the top 20 of heavyweight I can understand why people believe he will be able to win a world title right now. I say he would beat Andy Ruiz so maybe I'm in that bracket you're talking about, but I don't think he would beat Wilder, AJ or Fury simply due to size and power differences.
