The best part about the Mannix interview with the Fox exec

Mannix asked about their interest in buying and airing foreign fights and that exec did they're only focused on the domestic product.

It's like they realize Americans want to see fighters from America or based in America.

All those foreign fights are for hardcore boxing fans. Can't grow the sport in America showing that. Glad they're not wasting resources on that and instead are using resources for America

The sport's popularity is declining in America. Buying rights from international markets gives you an additional source of revenue. Fox Sports already has a lot of European soccer, FIFA tournaments and international tennis. There is clearly a market for international sporting events, it's PBC's loss if they don't want to cater to that market and invest in showcasing foreign talent.

You're comparing the #1 sport in the world (soccer) to boxing. Boxing wouldn't make top 10 sport in 99% of countries.

Are you just looking for an argument because what you said makes no sense.

The part of the interview that frustrated me was Mannix saying "no one cares" about Wilder fighting guys that are not Joshua or Fury when pressing about the possibility that they never fight.

Nah, dude.... YOU don't care. The fans DO. Joshua, Wilder, and Fury and can fight midlevel guys and their fans and 90%+ of casuals won't care and will come out and see it.

Wilder could fight Kownacki, Jermaine Franklin, Charles Martin, Efe Ajagba, and end his career with two fights against against Shannon fuckin Briggs if he wanted and make millions and do great TV numbers in the process. The same is true for Joshua if he regained the title and fought a string of C list heavyweights at Wembley.

Mannix needs to stop injecting his negative ass fanboy bull**** into the storyline.

Soccer isn't the #1 sport in America. MLS games do lower ratings than boxing. An Inoue or Warrington fight could probably do better numbers than Bundesliga soccer on FS2. It's also better than airing old UFC stuff for the hundred billionth time and all that other filler crap that's on there.

Soccer is the #1 sport in the world. America is a melting pot. People from other countries that live here enjoy soccer. MLS games are selling out stadiums.

                Your comparison is ******.

Nope, MLS became the 3rd-4th sport in the USA ratings 2 years ago
