But DAZN has shown they'll over pay for fights so any fighter who has other network options is going to take DAZN to the bank in order to get the fight made.

Dervychenko vs. GGG was a $2 mil fight the year before on HBO. That's why GGG said the fight wasn't worth the money he was going to get paid. DAZN paid over $20 mil for that card and they had to or else GGG would be fighting on FOX or Showtime or he'd have to relinquish his mandatory position.

I think this post shows that DAZN isn't the cause of overpaying fighters. PBC was the originator. DAZN just doing it worse than they did because they are desperate for subscriptions.
