    Where does the bias start?

I've only been on these forums for a month or so but I can't understand the insane bias and side picking between promoters and broadcasters. Fighter bias I can understand, you like a guy and their personality, their style etc. However this cult like loyalty to broadcasters makes no sense to me.

I see so many posts shredding A or B and then C. They are all in the boxing business, they are all (at some point) providing quality and interesting match ups. Why let your mind dictate that you pick a side? Don't let your brain trick you out of enjoying twice or even three times as much boxing.

Who didn't love Prograis vs Taylor on DAZN? Who didn't find themselves glued to the screen with Spence vs Porter on PBC?

I've been reading about boxing on my lunch breaks and watching boxing most weekends for 10+ years now and I absolutely love the sport. Seeing it this healthy makes me feel fortunate as heck! I signed up to chat some boxing, but so many of the posts are just vendetta and agenda nonsense about broadcasters.

They get paid to post, why else would anyone care that much about a promoter/network? LOL. Or they could just be mentally re.tarded.

Plenty of it is driven by nationality. A lot by race. It's all a bit pathetic.

To be honest, I've never really understood the idea of 'supporting' a fighter. It's completely different to supporting a football team.

I have crazy respect for anyone who gets in the ring. It then just becomes a case of who you think is the best. And in boxing it's never too simple coming up with that answer.

When you get to supporting a promoter or a network... It's bat**** crazy.

When Floyd left HBO for Showtime all of his haters started being biased towards PBC and have never given Al Haymon a fair shot.

Some of it obviously has to do with race as well which is disgusting. Certain posters and even media members didn't like it that black men got to the top of the sport and are shot callers.

The rest of us are just asking for people to have standards that they apply to all promoters and networks equally.

It all comes from the PBC fan gimps. They dont realise you can be pro something with out being anti something else. But they are a bunch of haters mud slinging at anything not PBC.

When did this happen? The critics of DAZN were people that purchased the service. They had a terrible viewing experience because of the glitching.

These weren’t pbc “fan gimps”, these were non biased fans from all races and nationalities.

Long before DAZN was even being thought about people hated against Haymon. HBO kicked him off the network and people like you celebrated because you thought haymon’s company would fold.

Instead he found a network, for Floyd a record deal, and then put on the 3 most watched ppv fights and the highest grossing event in the history of the sport.

You guys have been predicting his downfall for years and are wrong every time you do.

It's just an extension of fighter bias.

Fighters are represented by promoters and particular networks who push their abilities, thus the fans loyalties to a fighter are extended to their promoter.

Can't you post your thoughts without bringing race in to it?

Lol if I remember correctly many hood**** here were predicting the downfall of GBP when Schaefer left, yet he is still going strong and has the cash cow and face of boxing in his stable. Haymon is nothing more than a hoodlum and a thug.
