Fa is already 30. Not even a prospect. he is top 15 only by WBO, which means, he is not important at all. Time to step up. Hoy about Joyce - Fa?Comment

I think Chris Arreola would be a good matchup for Fa He's got a name. He's an upgrade over Vargas so Fa can show how off what if anything he learned from that fight while not being such a huge step up that he'd get eaten alive.
It should be an exciting fight but one that Fa (if he's as good as his promoters are making him out to be) should be able to handle.Comment

I liked Fa. But it just seems he has not progressed. Top 15 ranked HW that can earn a good living sounds about right. He can be groomed for a mid-range money fight against another fringe top 10 HW on an undercard of a big fight. Win or lose, that exposure could translate into some other money fights for a couple more years. But beyond that? Just does not seem to have enough.Comment

HW has been so underwhelming for so long now. Back in the glory days people actually fought each other - Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Norton, and there seemed to be some depth as you still had some pretty decent second stringers in play like Bugner and a few others.
Then along came Holmes, leading to Tyson and Holyfield then Lewis, and there were still some other decent fighters in the mix like Toney/Bowe/Mercer/Moorer and others.
Then of course it was the Klitschko express for a long time, but since then the division feels like its dried up with little depth. Only one fight between the '3 kings' Fury, Wilder and Joshua before Ruiz upset that apple cart. Apologies to any Ruiz fans, but I can't imagine Ruiz going above Bruno levels in the history books if he was around back in any of the previous generations.
And Fa won't light the division up...that's for sure.Comment
