George Foreman - " I DID NOT WANT ANY PART OF MIKE TYSON"
Collapse

We been knew this, Prime Mike Tyson with Cus D’Amato was simply unstoppable!
I think he would’ve retired undefeated!
Too much speed, too quick, too much power, focused, too much angles, too much head movement, attacked the body relentlessly and had the only man who could hone his capabilities mentally!
People say that a guy who’s not afraid of Tyson beats him but honestly that just makes the beating even worse for that person, it may go 12 but I guarantee that person won’t be the same! -

For those looking for context, Foreman said Tyson was scared of him but he was okay with not fighting him because Tyson was insane and that made him nervous.Comment

Always heard it the other way.
Don't think George feared any man, except maybe when young, Liston.
Just saw the whole thing.
GF said Tyson was afraid of him and he was glad about that.
But he's so PC in what he says publicly.
And he made sure to have the product he's pushing cited at beginning and end of interview, a bit sleazy, ESPN.Last edited by johnbook; 11-16-2019, 01:43 PM.Comment

How old was George during the period he’s referring to? Early forties? Of course he didn’t want any part of that buzzsaw. Lol Not saying prime Foreman would’ve beaten Tyson, but I’m not saying he wouldn’t have either.Comment

This would've been during Foreman's second title reign and after Tyson got out of jail. 1995-1997.Comment
