The problem with this is that to fight for a PBC title a fighter will have to be with the PBC.

In an ideal world everyone in Boxing would come together and form 1 universal title. Just start the whole thing over and go off of independent rankings like Boxrec.

I reckon that only happens when the UFC buys a brand and kills it off. They absorbed the SF titles into the UFC titles then got rid of them when they bought SF.

What I'm saying is there is no such thing as an undisputed in MMA, nor will there ever be, because every promotion has a champion.

Wilder-Ruiz would be for the PBC if they win their fights and are unifing for undisputed.

Effectively making the PBC = Undisputed.

So even if ESPN and DAZN try, their claims are weak at best. The ****'re they gonna claim? If Wilder wins his fights that means he's whooped Fury too so even ESPN = Lineal wouldn't be an option unless that fight falls through. Couldn't even imagine what DAZN could say their title is worth....just a DAZN title.

I'm neither pro nor against, just curious how it all plays out and reckon the PBC is trying to flex while they have the belts under their control in the biggest division of them all.

If the PBC can force the others to recognize their brand as the primo that could be good for boxing actually.

I’m just very surprised that this has not happened with every platform out there
To be honest , I really thought that Hearn in combination with Dazn would of been the first ones to attempt this
But wouldn’t be shocked to see the Bobfather/Warrren/Espn attempting the same chit
It comes down to basic business , cutting out the middleman
Although not sure how much the fans and the casual fan will buy into this
