Out of curiosity... how do you think a fight between Ortiz vs Klitschko would have turned out? I actually think Ortiz would have beat Wlad as well. He did lose to Wilder, and even if he loses again I still think he's in the mix as one of the top 5, at least top 10, probably at 6 if anything.

Ortiz is still a main player. He is a tough out for anyone, but I think movement is key to beat him. If you take him into deeper rounds like Wilder did, you fair a much better chance at beating him. Any heavyweight who is elusive I think can beat him. You know, make Ortiz really work for it. I think Wlad vs Ortiz would be a war. Wlad was a master at slowing down the pace and was better skilled. Hard to say.

obv in the context, aj didn't mean 'give me $50m in some other context' it was $50m in the context of THE proposed wembley fight.

However keep in mind that Schaeffer is an Eddie Hearn hater and a severely bitter individual. He tried to break the UK market himself with goldenboy back in 2010/11, but Eddie got the sky sports contract. He's been whining about Eddie ever since.
The argument he made was that 'they offered Parker 33%' ignored the fact that AJ's value increased because he had an additional belt he took off Parker..and furthermore Parker got $7m. so if Parker got 33% then the revenue was $28m.
Schaeffer was arguing that it does $100m because 50% would come from the US market.

AJ/Eddie responded 'it happens in the UK'. At the time, that was the case, aj was only going to fight the undisputed fight in the UK.

I read they offered 5 mil and Ortiz wanted 10 mil. He was a late replacement for that fight right? He had more leverage in that position. Besides Ortiz is getting more than 7 mil for the rematch, so your argument is invalid anyways lol.
