I think you guys are doing yourselves dirty by backing someone like Smith.
You’ll regret this when Smith gets stapled to the canvas.

This is a pbc move who want to keep their crap in-house.

I understand though, a regional-level promoter like Hearn loves sending his guys in these fights, yet they lose most of the time. Happy for the payday basically.

He just fought Dirrell and is fighting the #1 contender. Lets see who he fights after his mandatory to gauge him. The fighter to be concerned with is Navarette who burst onto the scene with huge victories over Dogoe and now is fighting a string of unknowns.

To be honest i think he is a confident boxer, he is obviously with PBC, who we all know would prevent him from fighting any threats outside of their stable. They already got plans for his next two fights (Yildrim - failed VADA test but WBC somehow cleared him - we all know why) and then Plant (unification - amazing).

If you are insinuating that, he isn't going to unify with Callum smith then i wouldn't hold my breath for that one, if Smith and BJS can unify then that would hopefully put more pressure on PBC to put the Benavidez/plant winner in an undisputed fight with the Smith/BJS winner.

A real good win for a 22 year old and it wasn't even competitive.

              Tough crowd.

Yeah people are being extremely unfair to him. Plus he was suspended for a little bit. Give him time.

While I think Benevides would win, Plant is none of these things. I might have to rethink this as you are known for backing losers.
