TH'S article struck a nerve, one thing found to be odd was the lack of direct quotes from the decision makers, just sources close to both sides. I believe TH blew the situation up without letting on he intended too, that was intentional, the NVSAC sh/t itself when it read this, I have rarely seen them threaten a promotional firm in this fashion, only when straight up crime is involved.
Which this is technically, however, Hearns lawyers can get around it, the AG is not going to spend tax dollars punishing a company that will generate untold amounts of money for the city of vegas in the next few years.
This is a big nothing, NV cant bite the hand that feeds them.
Matchroom USA is probably at the bottom or the list for promotional companies that Vegas would bend the rules for. They no longer have any champions or fighters that move the needle in the USA.
