  • Comments Thread For: NSAC Confronts Matchroom Over Chavez Jr

Nevada State Athletic Commission executive director Bob Bennett has sent a strongly worded letter to Eddie Hearn (managing director of Matchroom Sports) objecting to the manner in which Matchroom has handled the refusal of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr to provide a test sample to a Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency collection agent on October 24. In part, Bennett's letter warns, "Grounds exist to bring disciplinary action against Matchroom before the NSAC. If Matchroom does not take the necessary action to come into compliance with Nevada law, our office will consider its options."

Where was all of the fuss when the Charlo sisters skipped tests and when Danny Jacobs just skipped a test?

Just fine Chavez Jr. and be done with it. Nevada is just pissed because they lost the fight to Arizona, lmao.

Matchroom will have to cancel the event. This is not the UK where a fighter gets banned and you look for different officials or venue. Chavez was obviously roided and needs to be suspended for 27.5 years.

You're obviously new here. There were threads on Charlo's missing tests.

I tell a consistent story on this subject. A missed test/refusal to test = a failed test.

NSAC are right in this instance. Chavez Jr shouldn't be licensed to fight.

The whataboutism tactic seems to be the go to tactic today. The OP found a use for the old Whataboutism in order to deflect the intent of the article
