Cancio belt isnt actually rated as a belt by some boxing organizations. It's all very confusing & corrupt to the core
It seems like the WBA is trying to turn Santa Cruz into a PPV star which would explain why they're having him fight Flores for the "super" WBA belt to make it easy for Santa Cruz to win the title so that he stays relevant and be a reason for others to want to fight him

That is exactly what they are doing. A PPV fight in 2020 between Tank and Leo has been heavily rumored (either at 130 or 135).

How's this even possible? How is it that Flores gets a title fight? What did he do to earn this opportunity? I wonder if one of the media staff at the presser conference will have the balls to call out the WBA and embarrass the hell out of them

It seems like Cruz is being groomed to fight Davis. Davis will never go back to 130. And if it happens at 135 (or even at 130), Cruz will suffer permanent damage or die in the ring.

They hopefully wise up fast and avoid such disaster.

The business fight to make for Santa Cruz at 130 is Russell.

Tank and Loma would be a good PPV fight. Russell Jr and Santa Cruz would also be a good PPV fight. Definitely not Tank and Santa Cruz

Putting Russell and PPV in the same sentence is a joke, especially against Cruz. For Cruz to be on PPV, he needs a name guy. Nobody knows Russell, who fights once every two years. Neither do many fans care about Cruz himself.

The only way those two ever see PPV is to be on an undercard of a bigger name.

On the undercard of Davis-Lomachenko, yes.

                  Davis-Lomachenko
                  Cruz-Russell

Let's have it: Cinco de Mayo 2020.

The people have been clamoring for a fight between Santa Cruz and Russell. Trust me. It would sell despite of Russell's inactivity because their styles are perfect for each other. Maybe not for the main event but would make an excellent co-main on the Wilder/Fury 2 card

I totally agree with you there. I wanna see that one too. Neither should fight Davis.

The only PPV fight I'd pay for is Davis-Loma. And, that's if it is priced reasonably, like 50 bucks max.
