I always thought people having him as a P4P top 10 fighter was crazy.

I think you could make a good argument for Porter having won their fight.

He even let Garcia back in their fight towards the end.

Spence & Crawford are and have always been the class of that division, with everyone else fighting for 3rd

Idk why people can't just give these guys props? Instead of pulling the "exposed/overrated" card why cant they just give props to Shawn Porter who gave a tough fight to everyone he has faced.

1 loss and he's overrated? He beat Porter more comfortably than Spence did. Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter were at 1 time among the top guys at 147 (Porter arguably still is) and Thurman beat both

Wins over Garcia and Spence. Much better wins than Crawford has. Arguably better than Spence before he fought Porter too.

I thought his fight with Pac was closer than many think but he lost. Doesn’t look like the same fighter as before the injuries and long layoffs

I don’t think he’s an elite fighter but other than his loss to Pac, he’s proven he’s of a similar level to Spence, Porter etc. And more proven than Crawford against real opponents.

No, Thurman is overrated because he hasn't had a dominant performance in what like 4 years or something, maybe 5?

Spence is the top of the class due to the eye test and his going into Brook's backyard in England, breaking his face, and taking his belt.

He's dominated most of his competition outside of the always rough and rugged Shawn Porter, who IMO beat Thurman in their fight.

I see it different way, Thurman beat Porter better than Spence did. And Spence beat Brook coming from a stoppage loss, so it is not a very good win.

Thurman is very tough man, he is not overrated at all.
