Not sure how much longer the PPV model will last in this day and age of streaming. As hard as Fox is pushing this, it will be difficult to defend a lackluster showing. Fox is truly trying to promote this correctly. Just wonder how much it will help. I am excited for this fight, but not at PPV prices.
Last week PBA bowling had 1.5 million viewers on Fox. This must mean that bowling should get millions of ppv buys. Bull riding also gets millions of viewers when it has football as a lead in. This must mean that bull riding will be massively successful on pay per view.
We talking boxing. Your boy bob struggling at espn, espn always ****** when FNF left & espn news is agenda driven like hbo was & dazn following those that went out of business
They could air paint drying after college football, and it would still have the same amount of viewers hahahha. This rematch will not sell at the box office and it will not sell on PPV either. Stop trying to act like it's an amazing fight or a blockbuster box office bonanza hahaha. Just stop...
Most of those viewing will have firesticks ,good on them if it had views but not only will it hard PPV sell the undercard isn't helping out at all , its just really bad decisions all around this wilder fight and how its being staged.
Seems like they doing good & 300 PPV Buys is considered a success.
