Roy Jones would Have Beaten the Tarver

I think if Jones & Tarver fought right now Tarver would still win, & B-Hop would beat both of them.

This was hypocrisy at it's best for over a year Tarver and his fans have been telling us that Roy is making excuses and the drop in weight had nothing to do with it. Then when Tarver does it and lets add the fact that he put the weight on for a movie he didnt even have to hold the weight for a fight he gets crushed over 12 rounds but OH IT WAS BECAUSE OF THE WEIGHT . Now myself I trust that it is true for both men but if you are going to be brash you had better practice what you preach... No excuses Tarver.

Dude, u right. The weight messed both of them up. With that said I still think Hopkins beats tarver even if he didnt lose weight. Hopkins ring generalship and craftiness will always be a problem for Tarver and a lot of fighters. Tarver isnt that fast to overcome that craftiness and take Hopkins out his zone. Roy on the other hand will always be able to beat Hopkins becuase of speed and the lack of comfortablity Hopkins has fighting a superb athletic guy. Case in point, Jermaine Taylor. Roy will never fight or beat tarver either, Tarver has been obsessed with Roy and has studied is every move and Roy has felt his punch and doesnt want to feel it again. The only way, I think, Roy beats Tarver if he fights unlike himself and keeps his hands up.

Yup that's the same way I see it ..Jones Vs Tarver is a lot like Holyfield Vs Tyson ..Tyson had just about everything Power, speed,on Holy but Evander was obsessed with beating Tyson for years, there for he wanted the win more and got it .
