    Lowest boxing IQ's

We know some of the highest, such as Crawford and Lomachenko

Which fighters do you think are the absolute ******est, least self-aware in the ring today?

Mostly cats we never see twice or talk about here. Guys who wont even get to fight 8 or 10 rounders.

Of higher level guys who seem to lack some ring IQ I think Kirkland is among them. Hughie Fury. Im not seeing much in Andrade, but I am in the minority with him.

And this might be realllllllly controversial but while I think Cuban fighters have extremely high level boxing ability I often think they are not understanding where they stand in a round. Very few amateur notable Cuban boxers seem to know when they need to turn it on a lil to steal a round or when they can coast a lil with a lead. Id argue thats a lil different then a ring IQ only, but it seems like a massive hole in a lot of Cubans high level game otherwise & just seems a odd hole to have. Idk if its something about their usually long amateur careers or just something with the Cuban amateur teaching they get, but it definitely seems like a thing to me with more of these name amateur Cubans then not when they get to a higher level on the money side of boxing.

I always thought James Degale was the best example. He was a very skilled and talented athlete but he had no brain for strategy whatsoever. Eubank Jr. is similar, he looks great against no hopers but the couple of times he fought fighters with decent boxing brains in Saunders and Groves he looked totally out of his depth. I thought it was fascinating when the two of them fought because both of them were so lacking IQ-wise that the fight was actually hard to call, although in the end it was Eubank who won out as the fresher and stronger boxer. If Degale did have some boxing IQ I think he would have been able to outbox him.

As said before in previous comments its people who dont compete at a high level but if were talking about names most recognise possibly dave allen.

Doesnt seem to try and change anything in any of his fights even if its going wrong. Hes a brave fighter but doesnt come across as someone with the best ring iq
