Nope that has nothing do with defense, Jones was never a great defensive boxer, most people feared Jones power, that's why no one took a chance to attack him during his prime.

When Roy KOd Art Serwano, Arts eyes went to the back of his head and folks thought he was going to die.Derrick Gainer told me Roy cried because he really thought Art was seriously hurt by the KO (bare in mind this was just after Eubanks hurt a guy) .He was OK in the end and went on to fight for four more years

This fight was on the undercard of the PPV where Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini came back and wasstopped by Greg Haugen

I'm staging my own personal Roycott. I was simply not entertained. He is the most boring fighter out there. Roy could have finished that guy quickly but he would rather lull everyone to sleep with a boring decision. His flashy moves and ring antics are really getting old. I hope he fights a real contender and gets slapped silly and forced to actually fight so he gets knocked out.
