Comments Thread For: Eddie Hearn: We Have Five Guys To Fight Canelo Next in May

Technically, Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo' Alvarez holds world titles in three difference weight divisions. He has the WBA world title at middleweight, the WBA "regular" title at super middleweight, and the WBO title at light heavyweight.

What are you idiots (including Hearn) not understanding? Canelo is not interested in old, past prime, gift decision in his last fight receiving, can only fight one way head @$$ boy GGG. There are SO MANY other fights. We seen Canelo GGG 2 times already, let's move forward! Smh

Canelo should fight any one of the mw/smw/lhw champs next. As long as it's not ggg ill be happy,gs a lose lose scenario who Nelo won't be credited with beating because hes older & looks terrible atm. He should blast out Saunders as a tune up to become unified, then in September he should fight Benevidez/Beterbieve/Smith & it would be a great yr for him again if he wins those. I would be happy seeing him fight Andrade/Charlo also but don't consider them capable of beating nelo atm & consider them less dangerous than the smw/lhws even if lhw is wide open right now.

Andrade or Bivol would be my first two picks. The rest can kick rocks except maybe Saunders he needs an attitude adjustment WWE style lol

Whats up with Hearns? He always think that he is nelos promoter or something. I guess I should read the material.

Canelo should avoid LHW unless it's Bivol. That would be a good scrap. Callum Smith would also be interesting. BJS just doesn't move the needle for me and GGG looked past his prime against Derevychenko. Just my 2 cents...

Callum vs Canelo would be a top fight imo. Then Bivol. But most business sense it would make a third fight with GGG although G is old and faded as a fighter. BJS and Andrade should fight each other.

I hope canelo throws a swerve and goes for Derevyanchenko (Canelo said he thought Derevyanchenko beat GGG) or Jermall Charlo, or even the Eubanks JR. VS Korobov Winner (Both could fight Canelo at 160 or 168)

Many thought GGG lost to derevyanchenko.
Saunders himself said last nights performance is not worthy of getting a GGG fight.
Andrade the best 4 fighters he has fought as a Pro is Martisroyan, Culcay,Sulecki and Willie Nelson (Not the 80 plus year old singer) I want to see him fight a top fighter before fighting Canelo.
Bivol has won by decision 4 fights in a row, and Canelo as the cash cow will not lose a decision to Bivol (Even if Bivol deserves the win)who is only known by hard core fans.
Rather see Callum Smith fight Saunders.
