Yeah man but I’m not sure who he can beat. That’s the problem, the man can only handle easy fights. If I was Dazn I’d offer him 100k for his retirement and just stick to promoting the other EE bums

The only power play is GGG vs Canelo 3: we know Nelo has that in the bag with his age advantage alone. That was DAZN‘s only mission in signing him IMO

          They don't have to.
Just give him $500K for Steve Rolls type fights.
He's gotta be ashamed of himself getting $14 mil for such fights.

DAZN leadership must be r*tarded. they want to vet Canelo opponents but allow triple flop to fight any bum he desires. its like they dont know Canelo is their biggest star and without him their s.hitty app crumbles. Triple flop should not be rewarded with a Canelo trilogy when he refuses to take any other risks. DAZN should've pressed him for an immediate Derevy rematch and shoot down any other opponent. they should cancel his contract and sign Beterbiev instead.

GGG is the IBF world champion and he is fighting the IBF number 1 contender. An undefeated boxer who is ranked number 8 in the world. There is not a damn thing wrong with that fight. It's a good fight. Neither champion Andrade or champion Jermall have ever fought a middleweight ranked that high by Ring. You know if it were up to him GGG would be fighting Canelo but Canelo wants none of that. GGG just had a life and death war with Dervy. Let him have a fight with a high rated guy who can't punch. He is 37 not 27 and is not going to fight a killer every fight. Canelo had two recent cherry picks with 15 to 1 underdog fall down Fielding and 5 to 1 underdog Kovalev. Maybe it's time for Canelo to take a real risk and fight Callum Smith, Bivol or Beterbiev.

I sure as fuck would wanting some ROI if I'd invested that much, but who knows? As a business their only calculation should be how to maximise subscriptions... if they're operating under the belief that that is best achieved by hoping GGG - Canelo 3 materialises and hoping that GGG doesn't lose in the meantime then I guess they're doing the right thing. Sure as hell doesn't make much sense to my eye though.

The whole narrative for “Canelo vs GGG 3 is necessary for DAZN’s survival” was fabrication and nonsense theory. Canelo was for 11 fights.. as if beating GGG alone is what would make subscribers renew for the next 4 years. Lol. LDBC were and will always be dummies
