I just wonder what Hearn was thinking, putting a cagey, points-winning southpaw on an undercard for casuals?
I was thinking that before the fight but he got beat up and He got a KO! Hearn got lucky and then Haney didn’t do him any favours.

So Saunders has a belt, is less of a threat than plant, Smith and benavidez, and he showed vulnerability last night. Is there any reason to think he wouldn't be considered to be a potential opponent for Canelo's next fight??

I've seen Saunders have off nights plenty of times, but Hearn needed to realise that the kids watching wanted an undercard of YouTubers and COMPROMISE.

IMO, obviously. Put on a couple of YouTubers to start if off... get in some pros... a couple more YouTubers, and so on. How many 12 year old girls would have happily watched Billy Joe stink the place out if they knew some YouTuber was coming on next?

And just the choice of fighters, again.. I like Billy Joe Saunders, but even at his best he's "one for the purists". Put some ****ers on, at least.

This. That or another GGG fight as he looked vulnerable as well. Then Canelo can claim a legitimate super middleweight title.

Saunders is like Tyson Fury: he fights on opponent`s level.

I guarantee you, he would be tough for Canelo.

He still give Canelo a good fight even if this was not a great performance he would step up

Yeah right! With VADA testing? Hêll no! His nasal spray days are gone hence he would never fight for the WBC or WBA. That's why he only fights for the WBO because they do not require to do VADA testing.

Not the old "no excuses" flowed by numerous excuses from Saunders, again . . .
