I see what you are saying, I just don't believe in the notion that the fighter is specifically asking the promoter to place him in a favourable position regarding this title shot, I do know TR may have this kind of pull, but if the implication is that Loma is avoiding him, I would say that's a stretch

People act like promoters are supposed to call the shots when it supposed to be the fighters telling the promoters to promote a fight especially what fight the fighter himself wants just like when Floyd told bob to promote him better & to promote the fight he wanted (Oscar de la hoya) but bob wouldn't do either so what did Floyd do? Stop it dude. You claimed all Loma wanted was to unify and make history. Then he and Bob worked with the WBC to give him the emeritus title designation which ended his chance at unifying the division and, worse, allowed him to avoid fighting Haney.

You should be man enough to criticize Loma for this and admit you were wrong about his intentions.
