    Devin Haney Overrated???

I know Devin Haney is 20 Years old.... But alot of critics hyped him up to be the next Mayweather.... Haney demonstrated in his fight with Santiago that he is just a puncher who loads up... Poor boxing skills, predictable with the same 1-2's with power and doesnt know how to fight on the inside..

I had heard so much about him as the next Mayweathe. He was fighting a cherry pick rated 31st in the world by boxrec. I think he is very much overrated and Tank and Loma beat him easily. I think Ryan Garcia could probably beat him too.If he really fights the best at 135 next year then I think a loss is coming his way.

Holy ****, you guys are literal memes. Haney has a fight against a guy who literally is clinching every 5 seconds, and because he couldn't score a knockout or break out the clinch, he's overrated.

Nobody was saying **** when Ryan Garcia was getting his little pecker knocked in the dirt by Velez and Morales.

          Lomachenko would toy with him.

He just went 12 rounds with an Uber driver. Does Santiago really have an 0-1 amateur record as listed on Boxrec?

No those are rarely accurate. I think the announcers said he had 160-10 amateur record and it was shown during his walk out

HAney looked like crap, telegraphing his shots, no real power in his punches. He is still young though he needs to get with an offensive minded trainer, to work on his punching technique and power.

But Ryan Garcia would wreck him and so would Tank. cant believe Haney called out Lomachenko.

The guy is young, and fought an awkward guy. The fact that he didn't look great? I wouldn't read too much into it.

This is the kind of fight that a guy like Haney can learn a lot from.

The people who thought Haney would beat Loma if they fought now were over-rating him. That doesn't mean he isn't a great talent, and it doesn't mean he won't be a legit challenge to Loma within a year or so.

He just needs to do some homework, and keep improving.
