Comments Thread For: Gervonta Davis: Not Haney's WBC Title Until He Fights For It!

LAS VEGAS Gervonta Davis doesn't consider Devin Haney a real lightweight champion. Not yet, anyway. The former junior lightweight champ criticized how Haney became the WBC's 135-pound title-holder during a lengthy interview with reporters recently at MGM Grand.

Haney didn't want the title that way but boringchenko got saved with the WBC pile of sh💩t franchise program. Sounds like fighting words to me🥊

Translation, I'm not fighting Haney. Gervonta has a black belt in avoidance.

The WBC have a very con****uous way of making fights not happen.

Big fan of davis but he has no room to talk about haney as he himself won one of his world titles against a blown up featherweight coming off a lose in cuellar. Cuellar has gone on to do nothing after that. Davis also got treat from the wba by receiving (not winning) the super title when it rightfully belonged to Machado. That was one of the most corrupt moves from the wba ive seen.

Debunked over and over and still

Fact checking tells a different story. Lomachanko actually beat the champ for the WBC belt and now he's fighting for unification. After the unification...win or lose...Loma is moving back to his natural weight class because 135 is just too big. The decision to go back to 130 was made months prior and before Devin was even a blip on the screen.

Devin, whom I like, was given a belt just 2 months ago and only then started dropping Lomachenko's name. Devin saw Lopez elevate himself by using Loma's name and sought to do the same but he's chronologically too late. Devin will get traction and notoriety but the purest know Lomachenko was never staying at 135lbs.

I've written about this before, left dates and links. These are just facts, easily verifiable facts and I suggest you look them up or don't... and just keep ranting.

It's about money and collecting as many fees as possible. Two champs are better then one and 3 is just a bonus for the holidays.
