C'mon people. SK was the weakest, slowest and most vulnerable of the 4 title holders in that division. Stevie Wonder can see that. Saul skipped over a tremendous amount of talent in Callum Smith, David B and others by jumping up 2 divisions. Saul knew this was the easiest rout to another division title. Why do you think he skipped over that young and talented division. Saul has beat no champs in their prime. All mid to late 30's. C'mon people we know he's a great, great fighter but at some point put yourself to the test. Go down 1 division and clean house. Unify that division. He will not fight another light heavyweight champ I'll push the pawn and bet the farm on that. Too strong and too hungry are the other champs.

Either him or Bread also on record saying always fighting weak opposition is never a good long term plan for boxers.

I agree with what one of them wrote back in the day about D. Garcia. When he was fighting top guys all the time he was staying sharp then started fighting scrubs and his skills started eroding. You can not stay mentally and physically sharp if you don’t keep pushing yourself.

If you go back and watch old Canelo fights and now you would slap me if I said that’s the same person as now! You would call BS! And look at me like I went a full RTARD!

Canelo is now a “thinker” and the game has slowed down for him where he sees sht a mile away. Bread even says this.

Between both GGG fights, Jacobs, and now Kov Canelo has made them missing a WHOPPING 2,000++ times! He’s keeping elites landing around 20% of the time while he lands around 40%.

When I see Canelo, I think of the old school heads back in the day, some dudes you don’t want mess with, or Bread calls it, “part of their DNA.” The more we progress I just don’t see Charlo or Andrade having the dog in them to fight Canelo when the time comes.

I prefer Charlo and Andrade continue ducking each other. Suits them best.

Agreed! They are weird honestly. They are having to do mental gymnastics to hype up Donaire while downplaying Kova. It’s pretty lame honestly. Kovalev was a superior win and it ain’t even close. Furthermore, for those who are saying that canelo skipped the other champs shows how much of a higher standard he’s held and how much he’s hated, because had it been someone else it’d be perfectly acceptable to test the waters at a new weight with an average contender, much less a champion of the caliber of kovalev. I have made some threads semi jokingly citing racism as the true cause for the hate he receives, but I’m beginning to think that it may not be too far from the truth. Same goes for the hate R. Garcia, and DLH unjustly receive.

Donaire is getting more props than Kovalev because unlike Kovalev, donaire was actually trying to knock his opponent out and didn't crumble the first time he got hurt. He pushed through the adversity. Kovalev was out there pitty pat jabbing and not even trying to sit down on any punches. He fought the entire fight like he was scared of getting tired. As far as inoue getting more props for his win than Canelo. That's bulls***. People are sucking Canelo off and shooting him to the top of a p4p list for beating a 5-1 underdog who was fighting twice within 10 weeks. I think the praise he's getting is somewhat exaggerated for doing what he was expected to do and probably should've done even sooner in the fight. But to say inoue is getting more props than Canelo is a joke.

in all fairness, box rec rankings are a complete joke. They have usyk at like #26 and inoue at 32. That can't be a credible source. The ring, aren't they owned by golden boy?? Never heard of the transexual boxing rankings board but that doesn't sound very legit.
